When a pupil logs into their Third Space Learning home screen, they will see a 'Quizzes' section which displays:

  • Assessments completed

  • Assessments available to complete

  • Assessments currently locked to be completed in the future

  • Badges earned for completing assessments

To access their quizzes, pupils will simply need to navigate to the Quizzes section on the left-hand navigation panel, just beneath the Home icon.

What assessments will they do?

There are three different types of diagnostic assessments we ask pupils to complete over the course of their learning journey:

Why do we do these assessments?

  • To help diagnose gaps and tailor the learning journey of each pupil

  • To consolidate learning at the end of a session

  • To provide more accurate progress reports for teachers

  • So you can compare the results of the kick off quiz with the programme end quiz

What features are there to engage pupils in the assessments?

At the halfway point of a quiz, an encouraging pop-up lets the pupil know that they're 50% done with their assessment.

'Golden questions' will appear at random as the pupil moves through their quiz, making the assessment experience more engaging and exciting.

Pupils earn motivational badges for completing and finishing assessments.
