Filtering systems are designed to keep children safe online. Sometimes, filtering systems recognise Third Space Learning’s online classroom as risky and consequently reject the microphones. This can happen both intermittently and constantly throughout the session.

If you are experiencing consistent audio issues, even after unblocking our sites and ports, it is likely that a filtering service is blocking the Third Space Learning classroom.

If you log on to the filtering service your school uses, there will be an option to exclude certain sites from being scanned. You may also need to contact the filtering service directly to set Third Space Learning as an exclusion to their services.

For Senso in particular, you do not need to disable Senso, but you will need to stop Senso from scanning the Third Space Learning domains listed in the document above. You can do this in the logging policy and, in the box that says 'SSL exclusions', adding the sites listed in our IT set up FAQ here.
