How should I set up the tutoring space?

There are few things to note when setting up your tutoring space:

  • Each pupil should have their own device. Sessions work best on a laptop or computer

  • Each pupil should have their own headset with microphone. Headsets similar to gaming headsets are the most effective at cancelling out background noise and picking up the students voice.

  • Pupils should be spaced out as far as possible to avoid background noise and the number of students in the room kept to a 15 student maximum.

  • Bookmark student.thirdspacelearning.com on student devices so they can easily find where to log in.

  • Pupils should have their log in details to hand. They have a student ID and password which have been set by the member of staff who created their accounts. (navigate to Admin -> Pupil Accounts -> Download log in details if you need to find these)
