Pupils work through learning programmes chosen by their teacher. Programmes focus on specific learning strands (e.g. Number and Place Value), target GCSE maths grades (from 3-7) or broader goals such as SATs revision.
Each programme follows a structured sequence of curriculum-aligned lessons created by our academic team. Teachers can re-order lessons at any point to align with their own teaching or intervention priorities.
Every lesson begins with a short diagnostic assessment - called the “Skill Check In” - to identify baseline knowledge and adapt the lesson pathway in real-time:
If the pupil shows they’re not yet secure, Skye - our AI tutor - will use scaffolded slides to teach that concept step-by-step, modelling a similar example and working through questions together before moving on to independent practice and challenge. Throughout, Skye uses formative assessment to identify misconceptions and adapt hints accordingly.
If the pupil shows they’re ready, Skye will skip straight to application and challenge.
Every lesson ends with a short summative assessment - called the “Skill Check Out” to check understanding and track progress over time.
