When your school account was set up, an IT technician would have been assigned to complete four key steps that will enable Third Space Learning sessions to run without technical issues.

A common problem schools face is that certain sites and ports haven’t all been unblocked. Schools usually have a strict web filtering system or firewall to help protect pupils using the internet. To use services such as Third Space Learning, your IT technician will need to unblock specific sites and ports, to ensure that our services are not blocked.

Here’s a handy, downloadable list of the relevant sites and ports.

For sessions to work successfully in your school these essential changes to your school's firewall, proxy or web filter need to be made.

If your school’s firewall or proxy is managed by a third party, they will need to do this for you, and this can sometimes take a few weeks. Please feel free to share this document with any third parties who may be assisting you.
